Scotland 2008 -- This is the beginning of my day's trip to Glenelg, a peninsula behind a high mountain pass, sheltered and remote. My guide is "The Boy", a man in his best years called Ruaraidh. Ruaraidh lives like many people in the Highlands. He is a partime taxi driver, drives school busses and keeps 50 sheep and misses a few teeth. We drove towards Kyle, passed Eilean Donan and drove around Loch Duich and by Shiel Bridge until we turned west and up to and across the pass.
