Scotland 2008 -- Went back through the wilderness to Plockton. This evening there was life music at the pub. There was a guitar, a banjo and an accordeon player and the music was a bit like Shooglenifty. Met a lady from Zurich and her son with her English husband of 3 years. She is my age and met her Englishman after 17 years of being a single mom. Now they are looking for a house in the Borders (lucky gal). The music lasted till past midnight and after the happy couple had left I sat with the 24 year old son enjoying a couple of beers and having fun.
